Griffins' Club Dinner 2024

Saturday 17 February 2024; drinks at 19:00 in the West lodge & maitland Room, followed by Dinner at 19:30  

The Annual Dinner is the main event in the Griffins’ social calendar. It is a fantastic opportunity for alumni and resident Griffins to celebrate Downing’s sporting successes. 

The Griffins' Club Dinner is open to Griffins alumni and Pink Elephants. Any member of the College, past or present, who has achieved a blue, half-blue, College Captaincy or two College sports colours qualifies for Griffins membership and may attend the dinner with a guest. As ever, we would love to see a rich variety of sports and ages in attendance.

The Griffins' committee will present the Simon Cook Memorial Award, given in memory of Simon Cook (Law, 1984), to the 'Fresher who contributes the most towards College sport’. The Barry Everitt Prize will also be awarded on the night to 'a deserving Griffin'.

Dress code:  Black tie; Griffins attire or Cambridge University sports attire.
