Downing Engineering Annual Dinner  

Saturday 30 May from 18:45; The Fellows' Garden & The Hall

The Austyn Mair Engineering Society invite you to the Downing Engineering Annual Dinner on Saturday 30 May from 18:45. The dinner will be hosted by Fellow, Prof. Bill O'Neill and will be attended by some of the Engineering Fellows and students. It provides a thoroughly entertaining night, giving the opportunity to catch-up with one another and meet new Society members.

This event is for current and old members of the Society and those who studied Engineering at Downing. Guests of alumni in the subject/Society welcome.

The event starts with a drinks reception in the Fellows' Garden at 18:45 followed by a formal dinner at 19:30 in the Hall.

Dress code: Black tie (preferred), no gowns.

The price of the dinner will be £67.50 per head including wine. If you would like to purchase an alcohol-free ticket, these are priced at £57.50 per head.

Please make your payment for the dinner via bank transfer to the Austyn Mair Engineering Society's bank account by 13:00 on Friday 15 May. Payment details can be found on the booking link. Regrettably, failure to complete a bank transfer by this date will result in the cancellation of your booking.

The annual dinner has been free of charge for students for the past 3 years due to a generous donation. We would like the dinner to remain accessible to students in the coming years, so if you would like to support this, we would greatly appreciate if you could add a donation to your bank transfer.

Any surplus from alumni ticket sales will be used in future annual dinners to subsidise student tickets. Thank you.
