Cancellation of this event due to restrictions caused by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The College has with great regret decided to cancel this event. Safeguarding the health and well-being of alumni, friends, students and staff is our main priority – due to the rapidly developing global situation regarding COVID-19, and following guidance from the Collegiate University and Public Health England about coronavirus, we have decided to cancel events which might pose a risk in the near term.

 

 

40 years of women at Downing logo

This is the second event of Ariadne's Thread, the central theme of 40 years of women at Downing. In 2020, Downing will mark the 40th anniversary of the admission of women to the College, acknowledging and celebrating Downing’s women, past, present and future. 

 

AI for Health and Social Good

Sunday 22 March, 15:30–19:00 in The Howard Theatre, Downing College

Join Zoe Kourtzi, Professor of Experimental Psychology at the University of Cambridge Department of Psychology and Principal Investigator in the Adaptive Brain Laboratory, and Cecilia Mascolo, Professor of Mobile Systems at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory, for a roundtable event to discuss the adaptive brain, featuring women working at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This event is free to attend, but places are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. You are welcome to bring one guest.
