Alumni Day & Association Dinner 2010

The College programme for the Association Day on Saturday 25 September will be as follows:

12:30 Cafeteria Lunch in the Hall

15:00 Afternoon Tea

17:30 Lecture entitled ‘Sustaining Elderly Populations in the Past, Present and Future’ given by Dr. Richard M. Smith, Vice Master.

18.30 Downing Association AGM

19:00 Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception

19:30 Downing College Association Dinner

22:00 Bar

(Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day)

The Downing Association Executive Committee and the College plan to encourage Alumni to book for the University Alumni Weekend, which offers a rich variety of talks and events. Although the number of College activities will be reduced, Alumni are still welcome to book accommodation at the College, have lunch in the Hall on Saturday and attend the Downing Association AGM and Dinner which will take place as usual on Saturday evening, 25th September. We also welcome alumni to listen to our guest speaker, and Vice-Master of Downing College, Dr Richard Smith.

Full details of the University Events can be found on and booked through the University website. Booking opened on Tuesday 1 June and will close at 5 p.m on Friday 6 August. Please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
