The Alumni and Development Office at Downing College performs two main functions.
First, it provides opportunities for alumni to keep in touch with the College and to promote contacts and connections between alumni. The aim is to create a strong Downing alumni community with a network of year groups, led by Year Representatives, and professional groups based around shared occupational interests.
Secondly, it is responsible for raising money for Downing so that it continues to thrive and to fulfill its charitable objectives to the highest possible standards.
The Office organises a series of events and reunions for alumni throughout the year, it publishes a bi-annual magazine, Dow@Cam, it offers a contact service for alumni to get in touch with each other, and it plans and runs fundraising appeals and campaigns.
This website will give you information about our work and also offers a password protected alumni networking service where you can set up your personal profile and communicate with fellow members through the Forum.
