MA Graduands Congregation & Dinner for 2003 Matriculands

Why collect your MA?

Not only will it enhance your CV, but, as an MA of the College, you will be welcome to dine at High Table twice per term, the first time being free of charge, the second at a small cost. Dinner takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, provided two Fellows are present. Please give at least two day’s notice to the whenever it is your intention to dine.

For these and other visits to Cambridge you are welcome to book a College guest room up to 3 nights per year. Please contact the on 01223 762063 for availability and current prices.

It is possible to proceed to the MA degree at any of the Congregations listed above, however, it is hoped that as many as possible will proceed to their degree in person at the Congregation on 15 May 2010.

The Day

Due to the numbers involved on 15 May, you may only invite one guest to both the lunch and to the Senate-House. There is no accommodation available in College.

On other dates you may invite up to three guests to the Senate-House and as many guests as you wish for lunch. If you do wish to book an alternative congregation date, please state this on the Booking Form and the Tutorial Office will be in contact directly.

There is a College Administration Charge of £30, which includes lunch for you and one guest. NB. The fee is the same whether the degree is taken in person or not.

The Dinner

A dinner will be held in Hall for all those collecting their MA’s during the day. This is a chance to catch up with your contemporaries and reminisce about College days!

The drinks reception will commence at 7pm in the Howard Building, and will be followed by a three course dinner with wine in the Hall. The cost is £36.75 per person. The dress code will be black tie (no need for gowns). You are able to bring one guest. Please note there will be no accommodation available in College on Saturday night.
